Reno Nevada May 10, 2021 Finance & Accounting Our client, a leading international mining company has a rare opportunity for a Director of Finance to lead their finance and administration department. As the Director of Finance you are the senior financial manager responsible for all financial accounting and  related functions as well as administration processes for the U.S. Corporation. This includes  all U.S. projects. The Director of Finance is responsible for the management of the full range of  budgeting/forecasting, project accounting, and financial accounting and reporting from data entry to  preparation of financial statements. Duties will focus on ensuring proper financial reporting, internal  controls, financial analysis and reporting, both to local management and the holding company  management. Perform diagnostic testing to identify problems and determine the solution to solve problems Report any irregular circumstances or conditions related to area of responsibility Accurately fill out any preventative maintenance check sheet related to work.  Help train new employees and/or apprentices in the day to day operations and on the procedures of operating equipment Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer specifications     WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: 2 years+ maintenance and repairs to underground mining equipment Knowledge of Bolter, Scissor lift, Personnel carrier, Raise climbers, ladders. Ability to read, use, and understand Hydraulic & Electrical schematics, Engine & Powertrain Diagnostic software Ability to service and diagnose Diesel Engines, Powertrains, and Brake Components Knowledge of the mining industry A high level of alertness to detect hazardous conditions. Being able to lift an average of 55lbs on a daily basis.  Work on your feet for extended periods.  Have a valid driver's permit as well as being able to pass a medical and drug screening.
